Condolence From: Karen Narvey
Condolence: My condolences for the loss of a great woman, who I met at the Mi'kmawey Debert Trail some years back. While walking with other elder members we got to talking to realize we were cousins. Her mother Sarah was a sister to my mother's mother Maggie Mae Bernard. What a nice surprise we had to find out we were family.

Unfortunately, I cannot make it to the funeral, but my heart and thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. May Jane's soul journey be sweet.

Condolence: Jane was one of the wisest and warmest people I have ever met. I always left her presence lifted up, sometimes when I needed it most. No one can count the number of people she has helped and supported. She seemed to be an endless well of love. She was very thoughtful and brave as well. We send strength and prayers to Jean, the family and community as you grieve this loss.

Condolence From: Brian and Millie
Condolence: Our sincere condolences to the family and to all of us who felt like we were her extended family. Jane had the warmth, the love of others that was evident as soon as we were in her presence. She was a humble woman whose holiness inspired us all.
We were blessed to know her through the Oil of Gladness prayer group and by attending mass at Sacred Heart. I found her prayers for her loved ones to be compassionate and detailed. She has been a great role model over the years. She was a prime example of someone who made the most of life and whose life had purpose and significance. I was grateful to have disturbed the holy Eucharistic, an aspect of her faith that she treasured, to her at mass on Nov. 12. It is a privilege I will cherish, when I think of her. She will be missed, Brian and Millie Russell
