Obituary for Olivia "Livvy" Miles

Olivia "Livvy" Miles
Miles, Olivia Paige
Age 20, Salmon River

It is with absolute broken hearts we announce the loss of Olivia on Sunday, November 20, 2022, as the result of a tragic ATV accident.

Also known as Liv or Livvy to her family and friends, Olivia will be remembered as a beautiful, caring, charismatic, brave and loyal daughter, sister, mother, life partner, niece, cousin, best friend, and friend to many. Her huge heart, smile and laughter brought joy to all those who loved her.

Olivia was a stay-at-home mother whose whole heart was devoted to being the best momma to her daughter and “bestie,” Scarlett Mae. She loved Scarlett more than anyone and anything else in the world. There is nothing she wouldn’t do to care for her best friend and life partner, Vincent, her family, her beloved pets and friends and even total strangers.

Olivia considered her own mother her ultimate role model, the strongest woman she ever looked up to, her fiercest supporter and biggest fan, and she strived to provide that for her own daughter.

Being with her own little family, (including dog, Oscar and cat, Leo) enjoying quiet time indoors or time outdoors, on shopping trips, long drives, walks, picnics, trail rides and jet skiing were amongst her favourite things to do.

Spending time with her much loved sister, Sierra; her best friend, Cass, having mom and baby play dates, girls’ nights and making memories with her dearest friends and family took up the remainder of her free time.

Olivia was predeceased by her father, Steve Miles, in May 2022. Steve’s daughters were the most important part of his day, always, and there is no question that he was there to embrace his baby girl and guide her into the next part of her journey.

Olivia is survived by her mother, Cheryl Aker; sister, Sierra Miles; daughter, Scarlett Mae Ingram; life-partner, Vincent Ingram; her extended Ingram family, Gordon, Joanne, Taylor (Dylan Musgrave), as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She will be forever loved in our hearts and missed every single day. Her memory will be cherished always and shared with her most precious Scarlett Mae so that she may always know what a beautiful soul her mother was and how very much she loved her.

Donations in Olivia’s memory may be made to Maggie’s Place or Canadian Mental Health. Both charities were near and dear to Olivia’s heart.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 2:30pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. A reception will follow. Webcasting will begin at 2:28pm (AST) and is available along with condolences at www.ColchesterCommunity.com
