Obituary for Arlene Penney (Pearce)
Penney, Arlene Patricia – Age 77, Truro. It is with great sadness we share the passing of our dear mother, Arlene Patricia Penney, who left us on February 18, 2023 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, at the age of 77, after a long battle with COPD.
She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She had many friends and was loved dearly by her large extended family.
She is survived by her son, Gary Penney and wife, Lynn, Airdrie, Alberta and son, Ron Penney and wife, Suzzanne, Truro, and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren in both Nova Scotia and Alberta.
Arlene was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Baird and brother-in-law, Basil Baird, Great Village; brother, Charlie Pearce, Ontario; mother, Nan Dorothy Wheeler; stepfather, Ralph Wheeler and father, Charles Pearce, all of Newfoundland.
Donations in her memory, may be made to the Lung Association of NS - COPD.
As per Arlene's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences available at www.ColchesterCommunity.com
