Richard, Kenda Alice (Poole) – Age 78, of Belmont, passed away on March 10, 2023, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Pictou on December 29, 1944, Kenda was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Alice (Irving) Poole.

Kenda was a longtime employee at Stanfield’s Ltd until she retired in 2010.

She will be deeply missed by her companion and best friend, Ian Taylor; sons, Derek Richard, Onslow, Michael (Colleen) Richard, Dawson Creek, BC; grandchildren, Nicholas and Emily, both of Dawson Creek; sister, Anna Henderson, Three Brooks; brother, Jim Poole, Scotsburn and Clarence “Bud.”

Besides her parents, Kenda was predeceased by sisters, Joyce, Betty and Margaret “Nogg” and brother, Irving.
