It is with profound sadness that the family of our beloved Linda Pearl (Rushton) Webb, age 74 of Westchester, Cumberland County announces her sudden passing on April 28, 2023 at home.

Linda is survived by sisters, Sherry Lindsay, Belmont and Joan Hendrix Pickens, S.C.; sisters-in-law, Eileen Brown, Westchester and Anna Rushton, Truro; brothers-in-law, Leon Webb, Pugwash and Vaughan Webb, Sutherland’s Lake.

Although Linda was never blessed with a child of her own, she dearly loved her nieces, Kathy Dykens, Bonnie Minard (Allan), Teresa Meagher (Darryl), Sheila Stiles and Ashley Tanner (Robbie). She also had endless love for her nephews, Cameron Rushton and David Stiles (Cathy).

Linda also leaves behind great nieces, Chelsea Sullivan and her little princess, Azalea Tanner; great nephews, Dean and Devan Meagher, Chad Hanam, Dustin Roode, Mark Shay, Brandon and Darren Minard and her precious little man, Jayden Tanner. She is also survived by numerous great, great nieces and nephews.

Linda was predeceased by her soulmate, Carman Webb; mother, Aleatha Rushton (Pynn), father, Watson Rushton; sisters, “Baby” Carol in infancy and Trudy George; brothers, Dale, Richard and Keith Rushton and nephew, Jody Rushton.

Linda was a lifetime resident of Westchester where she had many dear friends and family. She was known for being an avid knitter and especially enjoyed knitting baby sets which she gifted to many parents of newborn babies. She loved doing puzzles and playing cards. Linda had a heart of gold and never refused to help anyone in need.

In the past few years, Linda’s health had deteriorated and finally left her housebound. Her greatest wish was to die at home in the house that she had shared with Carman.

The family wished to thank Gene and Zack Williams and Linda and Doug Sanderman, her most treasured friends. If not for these wonderful, kind people, Linda’s wish to pass at home would not have been fulfilled. The family cannot thank you enough for the love and care that you gave to her.

God looked upon His garden
and found an empty space,
