Hill, Shawn Franklin – Age 46, of Brookfield, passed away on July 28, 2023. Born in Truro, he was the son of Darlene Johnson and the late Kenneth Hill.

Shawn was very family oriented and loved spending time with his mom and grandmother. He was an outgoing person who enjoyed socializing with friends. Shawn loved all animals, especially the neighborhood cat, which would come to visit him every day.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Darlene Johnson; grandmother, Betty Johnson; sons, Michael and Colby, Truro; sisters, Kimberly (Will) of Alberta, Sonya and Charlaine, both of Truro; brothers, Scott (Angel), Brookfield, Kenny and Andree, Truro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth and brother, Matt.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd from 6-8pm with funeral service on Thursday, August 3rd at 2pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Burial in Lower Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, NS.
