Obituary for Lewis "Sam" Rafuse
Rafuse, Lewis “Sam” Erin Alex – Age 62, Murray Siding, passed away on November 30, 2023, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, Sam was the son of the late Charles “Sonny” and Lillian (Marshall) Rafuse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Dawn Rafuse, Murray Siding; daughters, Monique (Travis) Barley, Masstown and Samantha (Max) Rafuse, Murray Siding as well as granddaughter, Sierra (Michael) Barley, Masstown.
Sam had a love of collectibles from his train and coins to his Snoopy collection. Most of his conversations centered around either his “girls” or his “fur” grandbabies, Lucky, Bella and Rocko.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses on Floor 2 East and Dr. Bauld for their exceptional care.
Donations in Sam’s memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 1-3pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences are available at www.ColchesterCommunity.com.
