Obituary for Bertha Josephine Langille (Wadman)
Langille, Bertha Josephine – Age 87, Truro, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024, in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro.
Bertha was born on September 21, 1936, in Five Islands, Colchester County, to her parents, the late Ernest and Rosella (née Peterson) Wadman.
For many years, Bertha was a Nurse’s Aide at the Colchester Regional Hospital. After retiring from the hospital, she was an in-home care giver. Bertha was always there for you with a smile, a kind word or one of her amazing hugs.
Bertha is survived by her daughter, Audrey Langille, Truro; sister, Sylvia Warren, Amherst; nieces, Tammy Warren (Springhill), Sandra Warren (Parrsboro), Laura Lloy (Collingwood); nephew, Huey Warren (Parrsboro); great-niece, Bella Warren (Springhill).
Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Milton Langille, and many brother and sisters.
If so desired, donations in Betha’s memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Bible Hill Cemetery, 41 Warren Drive, Bible Hill. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences at www.ColchesterCommunity.com.
