Obituary

Lambert, Daniel Joseph Andre – 62, Truro. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel, our father and brother born on May 23, 1956, "You see more than I.” Dan loved his music and his sophisticated sound systems and was a true audiophile. He went to South Colchester High School, graduated as an electronic technologist from DeVry Institute and formerly worked for Atlantic Lottery Corporation. Dan enjoyed all sports growing up. Danny loved music and the best in sound. He is survived by his loving son, Matthew; his brother, Frank (Martin MacKay). He was predeceased by his mother, Gisele Lambert (Gigi Eddy); his father, Andre and sister, Nicole. No visitation or service by request. Donations in Dan's memory may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I worked with Dan and had many conversations about customizing computers, his interest in flight simulators and audio. He was always entertaining to talk to and positive to be around. We send our condolences. - Bob Thomas and family.

So sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Our family have many great memories of Danny. I can still hear dad (Fraser) talking about Danny with a smile and a twinkle in his eye......especially the summer Danny helped him while building the house. Danny was a great sport when on the shore or around the wharf in Pope's Harbour. I can still hear Gigi , while visiting in Pope's Harbour, always speaking so proudly of Danny. Our paths crossed a few times in later years, and he always generous with his time and we had a few good chats. His mum was a great, great lady, and the apple didn't fall far from the tree........ Our thoughts are with you, Ernest & Grace Eddy

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing, went to SCHS with him and always remember that nice smile he had. I remember him taking me on a bike ride with him on the first motorcycle he had sans helmets... Doreen Streatch

I was very sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. We spent time together playing sports in Sheet Harbour as youngsters. Danny was a catcher and good hitter. His mom taught me in school. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. Good memories: Charlie A Verge
