There is no doubt Rufus will be missed but it is important for all of us to remember he will be missed for all the right reasons. He was a friend to all, he loved to laugh and make people laugh. He was good at it. Some might say he was loud but that was one of the best parts. He filled a room. He was helpful and useful to many, especially to us. He was a Jack of all trades and a master of some. We appreciated that he was so ambitious and anxious to help. His generous nature and love of his family, big ones and small ones, was to be admired and respected. He loved his wife, devoted and dedicated to her. It was a pleasure to witness such a commitment. A love like that is to be admired and copied. Being kind and generous is not a quality found with everyone but Rufus was all of that and more. Rufus will be missed and there is no doubt in our mind why. May you find comfort in knowing that so many share the loss of such a great man. Sincerely, Nancy Crowe Samson, Adrian Samson and family.

Aunt Jean and family. Myself and Stephen are thinking of you at this time of loss. It is not an easy process losing someone you loved so dearly and you wish you could go in their place. I am sure that he is now pain free and getting caught up-to-date with his other siblings and especially mom. I can remember visiting you when you lived in Bible Hill and all the card games while in the house beside the drive-in. Uncle Rufus will be missed but always loved.
