Phillips, Carolyn “Hubba” Ann, age 73, Bible Hill, passed away following a long battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia on February 12, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro surrounded by her family. Born in Springhill, she was the daughter of the late Verla and William Dobson. Hubba was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mother and “Nannie”. She worked as an insurance broker for more than forty years. Her life was her husband, her three daughters and her grandchildren. This is a tremendous loss and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert; daughters, Ann (Mike) Frizell, Krista (Shannon) McInnis and Cindy (Neil) Hodgkinson, all of Bible Hill; brother, Doug (Eleanor) Dobson, Springhill; grandchildren, Justin (Raine Ripley) Frizell, Easton McInnis, Portia, Kingston and Lennox Hodgkinson as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17th from 6 – 8 p.m. and again from 1- 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. David Hart officiating. A special “thank you” to sister-in-law, Linda Carter.
