Aker, Paul Lewis, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, surrounded by his loving family – wife, Edna; children, Kenny Ramsay, Wendy (Verdell) Longstaff; grandsons, Chaz and Liam Roode. Born in Kentville, April 17, 1941 he was the fifth child of the late Evangeline Spencer Aker. Paul and Edna were married for 41 years. He helped raise a ready-made family of five. Paul was loved by many and adored his grandsons. He enjoyed musical gatherings with friends, old cars and long drives with his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by daughters, Susan and Cindy Ramsay. Special thanks to the Palliative Care, VON and special thanks to the Emergency staff, nurses and Dr. Michael Keough of Valley Regional Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
