Obituary for David Mitton
Mitton, David L, Cst. (Ret'd) Reg#32192 - Age 67, passed away suddenly at home in Denmark, Nova Scotia on October 23, 2020. He was the son of the late Lee and Annie (Armstrong) Mitton of Truro.
David joined the R.C.M.P. on January 13, 1975 (Troop 30) and retired on July 10, 1997. All of David's service was in Nova Scotia.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Burke; his children, Colin Mitton, Brett (Lindsay) Mitton, Meaghan Mitton, Lindsay (Dariusz) Mitton and their mother, Hilary Mitton; granddaughter, Avery Mitton and step grandson, Asher Burke; sister, Lynn (Ted) McLeod; brothers, Charles (Tammy) Mitton and Kelly Mitton; Step children, Aaron Burke and Kari Burke.
He was predeceased in death by his parents and a sister in infancy.
Donations may be made to the IWK Foundation or charity of choice. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
