Condolence From: Lynn Fraser Hruczkowski
Condolence: Dear Mary, Coleen and Clare, Don was such a lovely man … I am so sorry for your loss. I have warm memories of his many kindnesses to me, starting from when we first met some 45 years ago when we took the Christopher Leadership course together. Don was always so encouraging, from that time and through all these ensuing years. And of course, Don’s (and Mary’s) friendship with my parents Joan and George Fraser was always special. He was a pretty great guy, and I will miss his friendship. Wishing you much peace and comfort, today and always. God bless. – Lynn (Fraser) Hruczkowski

Condolence From: Craig and Kerry Lynn Mercer
Condolence: It is with great sorrow I heard about Don's passing. He was the kind of gentleman you would seek to develop a friendship with because you knew he was the kind of person that would make a positive impact on your own existence. I recall with a degree of fondness the opportunity I had to help him out with some fallen trees in his yard following Hurricane Juan I believe. He was full of energy and excitement and turned a task into an adventure. My deepest sympathies to Mary, Clare, Collen, Meredith, Camile and Olivia. Craig and Kerry Lynn Mercer

Condolence: Dear O'Connor family. It was such a special part of growing up to have your wonderful family as close friends and neighbours. I have very fond memories of Don. A few that immediately come to mind are the skating rink in your back yard, your little trailer and rappie pie. The rink, which he worked diligently at, made a great place for all the neighbourhood kids to skate on, day or night! It was my first introduction to skating with a hockey stick and puck. And my first introduction to the fact that it was allowable to lift up an opponent's stick if they had the puck! Your family was also my first introduction to camping. You had a cute little trailer, and I went to PEI with you once! Rappie pie night with the Arsenault's is another fond memory... it was fun seeing the adults carry on. Always a twinkle in his eye, even upon a chance meeting at Sobeys not too long ago. Hugs to you all, and I know he is watching upon you always, Love from Claire (with an i)
