Obituary for Juliette Thompson

Juliette Louise Thompson (Wellwood) – Age 63, Great Village. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juliette Louise Wellwood. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Leslie Winford Wellwood and Victoria Constance Debay.

Juliette is survived by her son, Tim (Tasha) Metlin; daughters, Rachelle (Clinton) Larue, Nicole (Gerald) Thompson; sisters, Mary Fisher, April Hau, Vicki Wellwood; stepsisters, Betty and Phyllis; brothers, Kirk Debay and Robert Wellwood; grandchildren, Tenielle, Bradley, Dakota, T.J, Austin, Gavin, Kayla, Jamie-lee, Ransom, Nolan, Riley and James.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Anthony Metlin and her second husband, James Thompson; sister, Deborah Wellwood; brother, Amos Wellwood and daughter, Amanda Metlin.

Juliette was a kind, loving, family orientated person. She loved being in her gardens. She had quite the magical green thumb and she displayed her talents with her beautiful flower beds. Juliette was a strong-willed woman and was an overall joy to be around. Her humour was the best, but her laughter was contagious. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Legion, as she was a part of the legion in Great Village. She also loved playing Skip-Bo with her friends and family. She fought her hardest through-out her life - it definitely wasn’t easy - but every time she fought, she would shine. She was truly an inspiration. The best sister, daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was the definition of beautiful.
