Obituary for Ann Daisley (Hawley)

Daisley, Ann Elizabeth – 87, formerly of Truro, passed away on February 22, 2021 in Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche.

Born on August 22, 1933 in Ingonish Ferry, Cape Breton, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Bridgette (Whitty) Hawley.

Ann was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her washer toss games and cards. She always enjoyed entertaining her family and was known as a great cook. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family wish to thank the nurses and staff of Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche for the excellent care that you provided to Ann.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence “Clary”, Truro; son, Clarence, Victoria, BC; daughters, Debbie (Crawford) Bailey, Truro, Donna (Halle) Johnson, Truro; grandchildren, Lauren (Alex), Cayla (Evan), Kyle (Cat), Rachael (Craig), Scott (Brooke); great grandchildren, Elliott, Annie, Rowan; sister, Alice (Art) Sarty, Fall River; brother, Gary (Donna) Brewer, Lower Sackville.

Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her brother, Simon and sister, Mary Briand.

In keeping with her wishes, Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date in Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. Interment at a later date in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. Donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Room at Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche.
