Murphy, Nicholas Elton Timothy – Age 36, Salmon River. It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Nick Murphy. Nick was the son of Debbie Murphy and the late Terry Murphy of Salmon River. He was born and lived in Salmon River.

He played hockey from the age of 6 – 18 years and so enjoyed those years. They helped mold the person we knew and loved. He worked at Keith’s Gas Bar, Kohler Windows & Entrance Systems, took a trip out West, was employed with LaFarge Canada and, most recently, The Flower Barn.

Nick overcame many challenges due to his accident ten years ago with his positive attitude, quick wit, sense of humour and determination. Nick was a millionaire when it came to friends. We should all be so lucky.

Left to mourn is his mother, Debbie; beloved dogs, Dozer and Duke; brother, Shane (Sarah); nephew, Liam Murphy and niece, Ella Murphy of Bridgewater.
