Obituary for Bertha Richard
Richard, Bertha Marie ~ 76, Truro, passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born on March 22, 1946, in Truro, Bertha was the youngest daughter of the late George Edward and Laura Marie Matilda (Brown) Richard.
Bertha is survived by her long-time friend, Barry “Benny” Gosby; sons, James (Janice) Spencer, Bible Hill, Tracey (Kristy Smith) Spencer, Valley and Clinton Spencer, Great Village; grandson, Kurtis, Kitchener, ON; granddaughter, Hailey, Valley; great-grandsons, Adrian and Austin, Kitchener, ON; sister, Elise Richard, Debert; brother, Keith (Brenda), Thunder Bay, ON as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Bertha was predeceased by brothers, Tom, Ron and Raymond and her sister, Dorothy.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Mahon Cemetery, or a charity of choice.
Bertha’s family would like to thank Dr. Graham and the nursing staff of Third Floor D, as well as the staff of Cedarstone Enhanced Care.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 19th at 2pm in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village with Marty Clark-Ettinger officiating.
