Totten, Patricia Anne – Age 66, Brookfield, formerly of Debert, passed away on May 28, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Florence Totten.

Patty received her hairdressing license from Lucien’s Beauty School and went on to open Patricia’s Beauty Salon in Debert, where the locals loved to gather. She finished out her career in the retail industry. She was loved by all her clients and coworkers and known for her hard work ethic. Patty, especially loved the ocean air, listening to music, watching the sunflowers grow, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by and will be forever remembered by her daughter, Christa (Paul Lemay) and her beloved grandchildren, Hudson and Henley Lemay, Brookfield; sisters, Jane MacDorman and Jennifer (Graham) Purvis; brothers, Michael (Kelly) Totten, John Totten and Robert Totten; her nieces and nephews, Amy Totten, Jonathan Totten, Ashley MacDorman, Kaitlyn Smith, Tara McNutt, and Nick Purvis, as well as many great nieces and nephews who cared deeply for their “Aunt Patty.”

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Glen MacDorman.
