(Lattie) Messervey, Edith Isobel – 91, Truro. It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Edith on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Brandon, MB, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Hazel (Allum) Glawson. Edith is survived by her children, Larry Lattie (the late Carol Murray), Emery (Valerie) Lattie, Ervin (Darlene) Lattie, Allen (Jackie) Lattie; son in law, James MacNutt; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also survived by sisters, Jean Fraser, Elva (Fred) Fraser; brothers, Doug (Helen) Glawson, Duncan (Dorothy) Glawson, Harris (Agnes) Glawson. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Lattie; daughter, Sharon; son, Kenny Glawson; grandson in infancy, Wendall; second husband, Sam Messervey; sister, Gladys Prest; brother, Harold Glawson and brother in law, Edson Fraser. Special thank-you to the staff at Cedarstone, Eden Hall for your kindness, which helped us through a heartbreaking time. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m. in Bible Hill Cemetery, 41 Warren Drive, Bible Hill.
