Anne Marie Gaetz – 64, Bible Hill.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Marie (Vaughan) Gaetz on October 8, 2016 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Anne Marie was born in Halifax on June 11, 1952. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was a kind, generous and loving person. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Anne Marie is survived by her loving partner, Gus Matheson; daughters, Elizabeth and Katherine Gaetz (John) both of Alberta; sisters, Margaret Thompson, Alberta, Elizabeth Vaughan, Truro; nephew, Matthew Vaughan; niece, Megan Vaughan and their mother, Charlotte all of Halifax; neice, Allison Keller, Alberta; extended family, Kathy, Scott, Stella and Jake Rann, Corey, Sara and Norah Matheson as well as many devoted friends and cousins. Anne Marie was predeceased by her parents, Rita and Bernie Vaughan as well as brother, James. Visitation for Anne Marie will be held on Thursday, October 13 from 6-8pm with prayers at 7:45pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 14 at 11am in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 669 Prince St., Truro. Rev. Dariusz Miskowicz, officiating. Reception will follow in Campbell Hall. Interment will be held in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Robie Street, Truro. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations celebrating Anne Marie’s memory may be made to the Colchester Branch SPCA or charity of choice.
