Condolence: Just a note to say I am sorry to hear about George's passing. As a student at Bible Hill Junior High I was less than concerned about going to shcool and as a result failed grade 8. At the time grade 9 was at the Onslow school and most of my friends moved on. I was left behind and was bitter about it and as a result spent the first part of the second year being a real pain to everyone. I was sent to the office and expecting to be read the riot act was deifant and mouthy to George. He suprised me by being very understanding. He said he knew I was angry but promised me that if I tried harder that I would likely catch up to and pass some of my friends which turned out to be true. I never forgot that talk we had.

Condolence: I am truly sorry that I am out of country, thus unable to attend the visitation and funeral for George. I was on his staff for eight years and appreciated the respect that he showed us. When he sat in on my English grammar class, not yesterday, he whole heartedly supported my approach to teaching English grammar. Thank you, George, for letting me show it to you in action. It meant a lot!
To Paula, Wayne and Donna my sincere condolences. Treasure the memories you have of him. He was a good man.

My prayers and thoughts with all the family,
Dianne

Condolence: "Mr. Pulsifer" was my junior high school teacher at Central School in Truro. He was an excellent teacher and could control a classroom without any problems. He would have been about 21 at the time but seemed older and very polished. I never knew what happened to him after he left Central but am glad he was so successful, involved in so many worthwhile organizations and enjoyed a happy home life.

My condolences to his family for the loss of such a wonderful person.

Condolence: I moved to Douglas Street School in the middle of Grade 6 when George was the Principal. It was a difficult time in my life and he took a personal interest to ensure things went well at a new school. His apparent stern exterior was deceiving as he was a very caring person who would also allow you to experience his trademark smile. I was I also impressed to have a principal who owned a Thunderbird car. Rest In Peace.
