Donald Maurice Brown – 79, Truro, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late George and Mildred (Rafuse) Brown. Donnie was employed with Brookfield/Scotsburn Dairies for most of his working years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Donnie is survived by his wife, Jean (Gunn); daughters, Donna, Patsy (Marven); son, Clyde (Suzanne), East River- St. Marys; grandchildren, Debbie, Crystal, Joey, Jenny, Michelle and William; sister, Barb, British Columbia. Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by brother, Doug. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. At Donnie’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in the spring in Bible Hill Cemetery.
