Ivan Lee Maberry “Bud” – 66, Truro, passed away peacefully, January 1, 2017 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late George and Merlie Maberry. Bud is survived by his common-law partner, April Corbett; two children, Jeannie Weatherbee (Andrew), Lw. Truro; Gordie (Corrine), Truro; Eleven Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren; sister, Dolly Isenor (Rolly); his loving cat, “Missy.” Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Wavy Archibald. Bud enjoyed doing outside work and he will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Visitation and Reception will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 6-8pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
