Cameron, Edward Dewey 90, of Onslow died as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was born in Denmark, N.S. on October 26, 1927 to the late Frederick and Rhodella (Walker) Cameron. Edward is survived by his children, Arlene (Kenneth) Fleck of North River, Donna (Kevin) McNutt of New Glasgow, Karen (Bruce) Creelman of Gold River, B.C., Donnie (DJ) of Truro, Shelley (Peter) Cameron of Eskasoni; grandchildren, Joey, Ricky, Nancy, Michelle, Justin, Ashley, Connor, Eric, Jessica and Cameron and seven great grandchildren - he was extremely proud of them all. He is also survived by sisters, Hilda Swan of Tatamagouche and Leota Dragland of Lake Cowichan, B.C. and many nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by brothers, Lloyd, John, Vernie and Calvin and sisters, Mary Jane and Margaret. He worked as a carpenter and for many years as a farmhand. He was a hard worker and liked to be around others building, cutting wood or working on the farm. He was a man of well-defined opinion and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, N.S. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Colchester Community Funeral Home on Monday, August 27 at 2p.m. Interment to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Denmark, N.S.
