Obituary for
James Barron
Barron, James Albert, 70 – Truro. Passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2018 surrounded by his loving wife and family after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Halifax on March 10, 1948, he was the loving son of the late Joseph and Olive (Barron) Riley. James was a remarkable person with many close friends. He relished his life and worked hard each day. He enjoyed painting and did so for almost 40 years. He loved to sing and play guitar, fish and hunt. James is survived by his wife, Helen (Rines) and children, Jimmy, Crystal and Corey. He is also survived by his brothers, Art (Nancy), Wade (Trenda) and Mike as well as sisters, Jo Ann and Colleen. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9th from 6 – 8p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro and a Memorial Service will be take place on Monday, December 10th beginning at 1p.m. with Rev.
