I can’t believe this. Last time we were together Ian was born and I visited u at home. Dear Mary: u were my rock, the year I taught at St Mary’s. Your easy going manner meant so much to me. Condolence: Having lived in Australia for almost 40 years how do you maintain a friendship with someone you met in residence in 1968? Well with Mary it was easy. Each time we met up whether it was Toronto, Montreal, Washington, Newfoundland, Melbourne, Halifax or Florida, it was always as though we were still in Murray House, Fredericton. She was the same down to earth, game for anything (except with food)and genuinely interested in everything and everyone. I can't imagine going back to Canada and not seeing her. It has been a very sad week for me but so so painful for you - John, Katie, Ian and Meg. My deepest condolences and cherish all those wonderful memories. Certainly I will. Robyn Alexander

Condolence From: Gary Ryan
Condolence: Sorry to hear of Mary's illness and passing. I got to know Mary mainly when her mother Peggy Lawson was at Williams Nursing Home. I brought Communion to Peggy during that time and would speak to Mary and her sister when they were visiting her. They were both so nice and appreciative of this ministry to Peggy. Mary always gave the nicest cards on occasions and showed such love for her mom. My thoughts and prayers and sympathies go out to you John and to all your family. I know she will be very missed and remembered always. She will be greeted by her mom and dad in heaven,I am sure. God Bless you all.

So sorry I did not reach out sooner. I think of Charlie and Don at these times also; makes no sense. 😔
Our families/children shared so many wonderful moments woven through you and Mary. The mixed Vball fun as one example but just one of many.
I really don’t have the words. Our whole family is mourning this loss. I know my own children who were especially close to Ian and Meg are heartbroken.
