Condolence: Eva, So sorry to read of your father's passing. He was always so friendly, if he was outside when I was walking by the farm, he always took the time to stop and talk to me. He will be missed , thinking of you and your family.
I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your Dear Dad, Hughie. I hope the support from your family & your friends helps to ease some of your sorrow. I have fond memories & laughs about he & I riding our horses in his fields!
Sending condolences to you and your family in the loss of your Dad.
We had great chats with Hughie over the years about the history of Brookfield, antiques, which we could tell he loved and life before we knew it.
Hughie could always be seen early in the morning headed to the “Homestead” with Mike to put the fire on In the winter months. Hughie could always be seen driving “The Deere” plowing neighbours out and plowing at the farm.
It is so wonderful that he lived a long life doing what he loved to do and sharing with the people of Brookfield.
I’m sure that the memories you had of home warm your heart and give you great comfort in knowing that your Dad had such a wonderful long life.
Thinking of you
Anitra and David Whidden
