Condolences

Condolence From: Ray White
Condolence: My condolences to Marty and Jay's family. I had the pleasure of growing up in Pickering with Jay as kids. Jay and his family eventually moved away. A few years ago I was in Truro and I drove past a church which had his name on the sign, on my next visit to Truro I stopped by that same church and visited with Jay and Marty. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolence: Marty, Viv, and loved ones, I'm so very sorry that Jay is gone so soon. I first met him at St. Andrew's and kept coming back for his wonderful sermons. As I got to know him as a friend I found him to be such an amazing and caring person. So much talent, wisdom, intelligence and integrity in one man. Jay had a kind heart and fabulous sense of humor that endeared him to so many. You made a beautiful and moving service for him today and I'm sure he would have been both proud and grateful. Take care, Lisa

Condolence: Aunt Vivian, Marty and Steve,

I was so sorry to hear about Jay. I will always remember him as my most fun cousin who was so kind, caring, funny and most importantly viewed the world in a different way than I did. Even as young as I was then I could recognize the unique emotional depth that he illustrated then and that we don't always witness in others. What ever news I would hear of Jay through the years always reaffirmed my original 'assessment' of him and my respect and admiration grew even more. One could say he was all over the map with is varied jobs and places where he lived but these experiences all helped to further define him and bring him to his true calling. And every single person who met Jay I am certain are the better for it. Heaven has gained an angel with a beautiful voice I am so very sorry for your loss.
