Robertson, Heather Mae (Rodgers) – Age 79, Truro, passed away peacefully at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Born in Belleville, Ontario on February 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late, Clarke and Samantha Mae (Stevenson) Rodgers.

Heather loved her family and lived a full life. She enjoyed bowling inside and out, reading, traveling, playing piano, doing embroidery, and making dried floral arrangements. She was a member of the Scottish Society of Colchester and the Happy Harmonies Singing Group. She had many friends and spoke daily with Donna Fargey, a dear lifelong friend from Stirling, ON.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Ronald; her children, Julie (Steve), Brenda (Andy), Steven (Patty), Lori (Tim) and two stepsons, Stephen (Michele) and Angus (Kiyomi); grandchildren, Aaron, Kirsten, Nichele, Jason, Peter, Jay, David, Samantha, Stephanie, Alex, Heather, Ciara, Anya and Graham; great grandchildren, Sophie, Axel, Annie, Landon, Jackson, Samuel, Sylvia, Kristina and Roman.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro from where a Celebration of Heather’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 2 p.m., Mr. Leland MacLean officiating. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is now required to show proof of vaccination and ID to attend funerals.
Heather will be going home to Stirling, ON to be with her parents in her final resting place.

Family flowers only please. Donations may be made to the Maritime Branch of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, or charity of your choice are welcome.
