Condolence: I was so sad to see this today. I knew Steve from CEC, and was always amazed how strong he was and always friendly. I will miss seeing him going up and down Young Street, and also at the Farmer's Market. He always stopped by to say hi to me, and to all the other vendors as well. RIP Steve.

Condolence: Please accept my most sincere condolences.
I knew Stevie at CCJHS and CEC.
Although I haven't seen Steve in many years, I look back on our driver's ed lessons with fondness and amazement that we even made it through in one piece. Stevie was a speed demon in the course and would just laugh as the instructor slammed on his emergency break while I nervously awaited my turn to drive in the back seat.
He was indeed a real card!
So sorry to hear this news.

Condolence: My heart goes out to Kenda and Tonda and their families for your loss. I can still remember his laugh and him arm wrestling with Marcel even though we only met a few times over the years. I am sure he will be missed as he was such a social butterfly. May God watch over you all in the weeks ahead as you grieve and may His peace surround you. love Marcel and Jen

Condolence From: Stewart Gregg
Condolence: My condolences to the family.

I started reading the obit with the comments about coffee, arm wrestling and driving and thought the man didn't change a bit over 40+ years!

I remember a trip or two with him in the Chevette. I think it was a diesel. I'm thinking that engine choice was a deliberate means of keeping his lead foot from racing between Lower Onslow and Truro.

Rest in peace.

Condolence: My heart sank when I read of Stephen’s passing.Margie and I would wave to him on Young Street and if traffic allowed,I’d slow down to say ‘hi’ to my arm wrestling champ at CCJHS.He would always reply ‘Hi,Mr.Cameron’.
Margie would comment on Steve’s personality.Stephen was always positive. If anyone had a reason to complain or be negative,it was him. What a tremendous individual! He will be missed but never forgotten as I drive on Young Street.

Condolence: Kenda and Tonda,
Words cannot describe the terrible loss of your brother.
Our family moved to Truro when I was in grade 8. Steve was in my home room class at CCJHS and we became instant friends.
I always tried to get ready for our arm wrestling, but he beat me each and every time! My sincere condolences go out to you Kenda and Tonda.
God Bless You Steve. RIP
