Glen-Higgins, Torry Colin – Age 35, Halifax, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 35. Torry was living in Halifax but was raised in Debert, Nova Scotia.

Torry is survived by his mother, Angela Glen of Debert and was predeceased by his father, Victor Higgins.

Torry was born on June 16, 1988. He graduated from CEC in 2006 and went on to study for two years at St. Francis Xavier University followed by two years at Truro Community College, studying Information Technology and Web Design. He was accepted as a Junior Solution Developer with TeamSpace, Canada’s Red Space division, in 2010 in Bedford where he worked till 2019, then ventured into trading stocks.

Torry was known for his positive reputation. No matter who spoke of him, the words were always the same. He was loyal, kind and was always willing to help. He was a brilliant, organized and caring man who was equal parts creative and analytical. Most knew of his interest in technology and while he did focus his career around this, he was also an avid reader and dabbled in writing himself. He never came without a plan and he always made sure to help his family, friends and those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
