Condolence From: Heather (Ross) Forbes
Condolence: I have fond memories of talking with Dorothy, at family reunions, during tea at Aunt Jean’s, and randomly when we’d meet in Truro. She was always so interesting and interested - catching up on our families. Her family meant everything to her. Condolences to all of you.

Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. A very Special lady! Roly and I send our deepest sympathy to you all. Gordon, her husband was my Cousin and Gr. 7 Science teacher. I last saw Dorothy at a Jane Archibald concert at First United church when I accidently sat beside her. Had a great reunion after many years. Again, our deepest sympathy. Roly and Jean Lucy

Condolence: Jim and family,

Dorothy was a wonderful neighbour for 24 years. Her kindness was always on display, always asking how our kids were doing, and always so proud of her own children and grandchildren. A fun memory was signing off on her passport application when she was 90 - only going for the 5 year version, not the 10 year! The neighborhood was not the same after her move. We will remember her fondly! Our sincere condolences on her passing.

Condolence: I was saddened to learn of your mom’s passing. She was such a lovely, kind lady and I always enjoyed chatting when I would see her at First United. A fond memory is during a solo camping trip I had at Kouchibouguac National Park, your mom and dad were there camping and invited me to supper at their campsite. May your memories comfort you at this difficult time.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Catherine and all the family. Miss Smith was my Grade 1 teacher at Alice Street, and I have very fond memories of that year (1949, perhaps?). She was a great introduction to the school experience. You are fortunate to have had her so many years.

Condolence: Catherine, Jim, John & families:
I'm sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was such a warm, caring, wonderful person. She was always a delight to talk to. This evokes many memories of times our families connected growing up on our visits to Truro and Victoria Park. My parents fondly recalled their annual trips to Florida, also towing their Boler, and, looking forward to joining your mom & dad along the way. Sadly I am unable to be with you on April 1st but will be thinking of you all.
Cherish the memories, as we all will.
