Cameron, (Frail) Marie I. - 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Lower Debert, NS, on June 9th, 2012. Born October 23rd, 1913, in Scot’s Bay, NS, she spent her married life in Truro, moving to Lower Debert nine years ago. Marie came to Truro and went to Normal College in 1933. She taught school for two years before marrying in 1936. After 75 years she has followed Weldon by only seven months. Marie dedicated her life to her husband and family. Her faith, family and friends were the essence of her life. She ran the office for Weldon in his plumbing and heating business. She was also active in her church and was involved in various ministries. She will be missed by her three daughters, Shirley Patterson, Helen Fillmore and Marilyn Cameron; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dorothy Patterson; Philip and Melissa Patterson; Josiah, Caleb and Micah; Harold and Sherry Fillmore; Brandon; Ken and Donna Fillmore; Joshua, Elsie, Katie and Bailey; Ed and Carolyn (Fillmore) MacGregor; Marie and Michael; Ralph and Denice Fillmore; Cameron and Riley. She was predeceased by her husband Weldon; her parents, John and Bessie Frail, and young sisters Evelyn and Helen. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, June 14, 2012, with funeral service 3pm on Friday, June 15, 2012, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Marie’s grandson, Pastor Ken Fillmore will officiate. Burial will be in the Middle Road Cemetery, Debert. Donations can be made to Colchester Christian Academy or Malagash Bible Camp.
