Condolence From: JENNIFER SAMPSON
Condolence: Faith and Matt my heart is breaking for you both. the memories i have of Lawrence runs deep.

We moved next door to Lawrence in 2008, when we first got here his first comment was "no one stays in that house for long" well were still here and your not :(
How do I sum up almost 13 years. You have always been there when we needed help with something. We sat together for many Holiday meals, we have chased those cows together, fixed fences (many times), you introduced me to the cattle auction, you tried all the time to convince me to get cows not horses. I have ridden in your pasture for years in around the cows, you let my kids ride their ski-doo's and dirt bikes out there as well (not many farmers would allow that), let the kids fish in the brook by the barn. We spent alot of time just talking over the fence behind the house.
I watched you struggle to grow this herd from 35 when we arrived to well over 250. Every night all the calves come to the fence line and hang out with the horses, my horses have even gone in with the cows and chased them, your response its okay Jen leave them alone they will figure it out themselves.
You put up a strong fight my friend, right to the bitter end, I hope you found the peace you so needed after such a battle.
I will hold my promise I gave to you just days before you left, and your last words to me "be good" will forever be etched in my mind. I am so going to miss our fence chats...
RIP my friend Jenn

Condolence From: Lorraine Miner
Condolence: Lawrence was my younger, talkative brother! Growing up on a farm on the Gaspe we were paired, at an early age, to look after the young cattle in one of the barns, often by the light of a coal oil lantern, before that barn was wired.
Even though we didn't see each other often, I will remember him, as I last saw him, while he was still in remission. RIP

Condolence From: Sara Abram
Condolence: Faith and family, thank you for being there in his final days. Uncle Lawrence was a special uncle to me and someone I could always count on for a good conversation. Many memories of visiting the family farm on the Gaspe and his in Nova Scotia. Will always remember his love of Quik (only the powder version would do). Sad to hear of his passing but also a blessing to know his suffering is over.
