Condolences

Condolence From: Charles Moore
Condolence: Hello Tanya and Elizabeth, in particular,
Roger was my older cousin. Unfortunately I didn't know him very well. I learned of his passing from the notice in Broadview Magazine. My father, George, and your grandfather, Charlie, were brothers, I remember Uncle Charlie very well. I believe I met both of you at one of my parents (George and Ella Moore) funerals in 1991 or 1992 at Fairview United Church in Halifax. That is one of the few times I clearly remember meeting Roger.

I enjoyed viewing the worship service in which Roger's life and ministry were recognized. 52 years of ministry, that is a full life of service!

You have my sincere sympathy. I hope you and your families are keeping well. Beverley & I and our 3 children and 2 grand children are all well and at least 1/2 vaccinated.

I have lived in Calgary most of my adult life but I definitely feel a connection to Nova Scotia and the extended Moore family.

Very best wishes to all,
Charles Moore

Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. I feel so lucky to have known Roger through his Bible Study group. I considered him both a teacher and friend. He made everyone feel included and welcome! I loved seeing his posts on Facebook, his photography, his dollhouses, etc. He was certainly a man of many talents. Roger was such a wise and kind soul. He will be missed dearly.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. We attended many of the Bible study meetings and services when he was preaching. He always made you feel as if your brain was being excavated! Always an interesting and informative take on Bible passages and his knowledge of the historical context was impressive. He will be missed. Our condolences to Anne and the family.

Condolence: Joanne and I send our deepest condolences to you, Roger's family. I had the privilege of attending classes with Roger at AST and broadened my knowledge of ministry from the wisdom he shared in class. The picture you posted, as family, shows Roger delighting in the gift of life and testimony to his calling. God bless and comfort you at this time as you grieve.
