Condolence From: Jennifer Madden
Condolence: I've worked in the same office as Jonathan for almost 9 years and, although I worked for a different DNR Division, Jonathan always made me feel like part of the work family. The office truly feels hollow without his booming voice, bright smile and unique laugh. He was such a positive force and we enjoyed many great conversations about our children; he was SO immensely proud of his kids and all they've accomplished in hockey and swimming over the years. I'm raising my glass of scotch to you Jonathan. I'm proud to have known you and thank you for being such a wonderful person. My love and deepest condolences to your entire family.

Condolence: I am truly shocked by Jonathan's sudden passing. I met and worked with him while I was with DNR and he at Bowaters. I had so much respect for him and we shared many ideas about forestry and forest management. I didn't know of his tremendous community involvement but he will obviously be missed by many.Let's be thankful for what he gave to us all and remember him fondly.

Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jon’s passing. Jon and I were fast friends in our first year of forestry at UNB. We were both learning how to navigate University. We were lab partners, studied together and helped each other, and forestry while very challenging was perfect for us. If it weren’t for Jonny, I wouldn’t have made it through. Jon became a fantastic student. I haven’t seen Jon since he visited me shortly after I moved out west, and we lost touch, and I deeply regret it. My sincerest condolences to his family, I will think of Jon every time I encounter a low ceiling or hear an early def leppard song, which is basically every day.
