Anderson, Lloyd George, 97, Truro, passed away October 13, 2017 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born, November 6, 1919, in Abercrombie, N.S. he was the son of the late Sarah (Day) and David Anderson; predeceased by siblings Ivan, Roy, Ralph, Mervin, Emma, Bertie and son David Anderson. Lloyd served his country proudly as a North Nova Scotia Highlander during World War II across Continental Europe during the occupation of Germany. Lloyd was a very elegant man and handled his life with grace with no malice towards others. His loss is grieved by his wife June and his closest friends. Special thanks to sister-in-law Kathy Anderson. Cremation has taken place. Lloyd will be buried with his mother in the Abercrombie Cemetery, New Glasgow.
