It was always such a pleasure to play tennis with or against Alice. She always gave her all in each match. She drew great pleasure in the hundreds of balls she hit down my alley cleanly each time. All she would do is look at me with a smirk knowing I didn’t have a chance. She so loved tennis!
I also enjoyed her many stories of her travels and her advice on where to go and what to try.
Alice enjoyed life and loved her family dearly.

Barry and I are so saddened to read our world has lost such a beautiful soul. Alice and Bernie were fixtures at Mass at Immaculate Conception parish for years and since our return to Truro 30 years ago, always had an engaging smile for everyone. Though her health failed in the past few years, that radiant smile never did. I know it will be a difficult journey for her many good and caring family members. We move on without your Alice…but I know life changes as these mean we too are forever changed. Be kind to yourself Bernie and keep the good times and memories front ant center until you meet again.
